Maybe, you’re wondering if it’s even possible to stay flexible and still get results? Well, I am here to tell you it is.

We get so bombarded every day to live the perfect healthy life. There are so many quick fixes, short programs, diet plans. I’m not going to sit here and say they don’t work. Because if you strictly follow them, they probably will.

You might even already know that because you have tried it.

However, what happens when they finish up? You kind of get into this mindset of either:

“Now I have to try really hard ot keep doing it, even though it is so strict, and when I get off track I feel really bad about myself”

or

”Okay well I’m at my dream weight or goal now so I don’t need to follow this anymore”

Either of those feel familiar? Let dig a little deeper.

When Staying Flexible Is Important For Long Term Results

I don’t know if you know this yet. But I recently moved from Sydney, Australia to Fernie, Canada.

On the way, I stopped in Hawaii to visit a client (Clarice – check out her client story here). I spent three days in the sun and it was the perfect stop off.

When you’re travelling and trying to stay healthy it’s the perfect example of trying to stay balanced. So my main focus was to keep moving everyday, in way ever way suited and to eat enough nutrients.

I shared a photo of me enjoying some delicious Mexican with not a worry in the world. Balance right.

I really believe in the importance of balance and sharing that to encourage you to adopt the same mentality.

This mentality is the reason I have been able to maintain a weight (and a physical level) that I am really happy with for a longer period of time. With some mild ups and downs that I know are going to happen.

I want to make sure it’s clear that I will continue to be real. To share my struggles, my wins. But most of all my way of staying balance and knowing how to practice balance.

At the end of the day, there is not one way to follow because we are all so unique. You balance will be different to my balance depending on your active preferences and your eating preferences.

As long as every day you make a decision to fuel your body with nutrients and move your body. You have to learn your own balance.
