You are at a point now where you just feel so disappointed with your training.
You feel like you have tried everything and, nothing happens.
It’s possible you keep searching the internet and social looking for that common trend. That one thing everyone else has done to reach their goals. And will hopefully work for you too if you just reignite the fire for your goals.
This is probably your first wrong move. There are many others. But let’s get to the bottom of it……
Why You Feel Dissatified With Your Training
I have been sitting on a thought. If you are really observant though you may have noticed a little trend popping up around my socials.
Here it is – you will be most proud of yourself the moment you realise how hard you worked to get there.
Not the moment someone else tells you that you “look good”. I’m not opposed to accepting a compliment when it is thrown at you.
I just want to remind you that, with goals, it’s not actually the end result or number that you are most proud of.
It is all the hard work you that you put in to get there. That’s what makes you feel most proud of yourself. Because you know you really earned it.
I can’t begin to explain to you how many people come up to me and say:
- “I’m unhappy and I want to lose weight. I’ve tried everything. Nothing works. Can you help me?”.
I want to make it clear that I am not in the slightest judging this statement and I encourage people to come up and talk to me about it.
I usually do like to ask questions surrounding how hard they are really working to get that result they want?
Because it’s not going to come easy and there is not a secret being missed out on.
So if you are feeling dissatisfied today or ever. Ask yourself how hard you are really working. Are you feeling dissatisfied because you haven’t reached your goal and nothing works or because you haven’t really committed to the cause? All I mean by committed, is being consistent with movement, not necessarily intensity.
On the same breath, I just want to leave a little side note here to remind you not to be too hard on yourself.
Consistency is key and you are allowed to have flexibility with that.
So work hard and love the process.
